Air
It is a mixture of gases that makes up the earth’s atmosphere. Air is composed of about 78% nitrogen , 21% oxygen
,0.9% argon
,0.1% other gases. Trace amount of carbon dioxide
, methane
, water vapours and neon are some of the other gases that make up the remaining 0.1%. The proportions of water vapour and dust decrease with altitude. Air contains no water vapour beyond 12 km above sea level. The amount of dust also decreases with altitude.
